Attempted Business Robbery
(Fayetteville, NC) – On August 18, 2017 at approximately 3:03 am, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to Domino’s Pizza located at 5133 Raeford Road in reference to an attempted business robbery.
The preliminary investigation revealed a suspect walked in to the business and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect then walked behind the counter and began assaulting the clerk with his fist. The clerk yelled for help and one of the employees from the rear of the business came to her aid. The employees were able to run the suspect off from the business and he did not receive any money or items.
The suspect was described as a black male, late 20’s- early 30’s, 150-160 pounds, with a thick beard, wearing a neon green t-shirt and gray denim shorts. Detectives with the FPD’s Robbery Unit have obtained surveillance video from the business and are asking for the public’s assistance identifying the suspect.

Detective’s with the FPD’s Robbery Unit are actively investigating this robbery and are asking the public to come forward with any information.
