Sexual Battery Investigation

 

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Special Victims Unit are investigating a sexual battery that occurred shortly after midnight on May 21, 2017 along the 2400 block of Rosehill Road.

 

The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was walking along the 2400 block of Rosehill Road when the suspect began groping her. The victim has described the suspect as a Hispanic male, 20 to 30 years of age, 6’0” to 6’02”, black hair with a “fade” style haircut.

 

Detectives with the FPD worked with the victim to create a composite sketch of the suspect, and are asking the public to contact them if they believe they recognize the person depicted in the composite sketch.
