FPD Detectives Request Individuals Come Forward with Information in Attempted Murder Investigation

(Fayetteville, NC) – Detectives with the FPD’s Aggravated Assault Unit continue to investigate the attempted murder of David Dotson, which occurred at the Carlson Bay Apartment Complex on Thursday, February 16, 2017, and are requesting anyone with information concerning the attempted murder investigation come forward with that information.

Detectives have identified two individuals who may have information which is pertinent to this investigation and are requesting they come forward to provide that information to detectives. These two individuals have been identified as Tavone Jaqualle Simmons (B/M, 21 years of age) and Chrishawn Johnson (B/M, 22 years of age).

Neither Johnson nor Simmons have been charged in this case; they are believed to have information pertinent to the investigation and detectives request Johnson and Simmons contact FPD Detective G. Watson at 910-303-9554.

Detectives with the FPD’s Aggravated Assault Unit continue to investigate the attempted murder of David Dotson and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
